Angry reasons
1. I’m so pissed. Roger just stabbed me in the back.

3. Matt is dating my ex-girlfriend. I’m pretty upset about that. He knows I still have feelings for her.
4. Whenever I think about him, I get pissed. He treats his friends like crap.
5. I can’t believe he was talking behind my back. Whenever he talks to me, he acts like we’re close friends.
6. Matt borrowed my car and put a dent in it. He claims he didn’t do it. I’m never trusting him again.
7. I told Scott a secret and made sure he never tells anyone. The next week, I heard it from three different people. I was so pissed.


Sharing and empathy
1. I can’t believe that happened. I’d be so pissed.
2. I know how you feel. I was so angry when that happened to me.
3. If that happened to me, I’d get revenge.

Apology someone

Suggesting a different date
1. I’m afraid I can’t make it on the 16th. Can we meet on the 17th or 18th?
2. Monday isn’t quite convenient for me. Could we meet on Tuesday instead?
3. 15th is going to be a little difficult. Can’t we meet on the 16th?

Changing the arrangement
1. You know we had agreed to meet on the 15th? Well, I’m really sorry. I can’t make it after all. Some urgent business has come up. Can we fix another date?
2. Some urgent business has suddenly cropped up and I won’t be able to meet you tomorrow. Can we fix another time?
